MFT Countdown Kickoff--Five Days Until the February Release!

Hello and welcome to Day Five of MFT's February Release Countdown! Release is in five days, February 16th, at 10am Eastern so make a note! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! Today we're previewing BB Mice Day to Celebrate Stamp Set, BB Mice Day to Celebrate Die-namics, Shadow Box Die-namics, Balloon Cover-Up Die-namics, Star Pops Die-namics, and Polka Dot Pops Die-namics (Previous Free with $60).

Woo, boy, have we got some amazing products for you this month! One of which is this ingenious Shadow Box Die-namics!! OMWord, is it da bomb!! I had SO much fun playing with it! Along with it I'm using BB Mice Day to Celebrate Stamp Set and Die-namics to create this party in a shadow box!

I decided to keep the box itself on the neutral side since there's an explosion of color inside the box, so it's constructed from Kraft card stock. The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers.

The box is constructed similarly to the Outside the Box Die-namics bases as far as the shelves are concerned. I stamped my shelves with Wood Plank Background to make them look like flooring and adhered them in a stepped up arrangement to allow better visualization of the elements in the back.

The very back of the box was covered with Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper sponged with Broken China Distress Ink and spattered with clean water, white craft paint, and black acrylic ink, in that order. I added confetti and balloons to complete the party feel. The "struts" across the top act to reinforce the box shape and provide top access for adding more elements--I added a banner to this card.

I finished off with a heat embossed sentiment cut from Black Licorice card stock with Fishtail Foundations Die-namics and popped up on foam tape.

This box card folds up neatly and fits in a standard A2 Envelope--what's not to love??

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Four of MFT's February Release Countdown!
