I'd Still Hug You - Color Throwdown Challenge #682

Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! I'm hosting this week and hope to see lots of you playing along! Spring is not far away--my card was inspired by these amazing Easter cookies.

I've always loved this BB Let's Stick Together Stamp Set and Die-namics--the cactus is always a great way to use green in a color challenge project. To begin, I stamped the images on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers.

Next I created my background by sponging Kraft and Summer Splash dye ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper, spattered with clean water and black acrylic ink, then stamped the sentiment. 

 

The card front was then adhered with foam tape on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with a Black & White Stripes Patterned Paper strip across the bottom. To finish, the colored images were popped up on foam and some grounded applied with Copic markers.
