Friend - Color Throwdown Challenge #705

 

Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Susie is our hostess and she has a color palette full of bold colors. Hope to see you playing along with us this week!

To begin, I stamped Abstract Art Stamp Set on patterned paper from Finishes and Textiles Paper Pad using Amarena Cherry, Moroccan Spice, and Prickly Pear dye inks. 

Next I added more color with Distressed Patterns and the same inks plus silver Delicata pigment ink. This was adhered to a white card stock base with foam tape after adding a strip of MSTN Black & White Plaid Paper Pad across the bottom. 

I cut the "friend" from Thank You for Being a Friend Die-namics from Silver Sparkle card stock, stacked it with two layers of white card stock and adhered it to the card front over a strip of Black Licorice card stock, heat embossed with a sentiment from Bitty Thanks & Gratitude Stamp Set with Silver embossing powder. For the finish, I added matching enamel dots.
