Sip, Sip HOORAY!–Flourishes Friday Focus

Hi, everyone, and welcome to Flourishes Friday Focus! Today we’re focusing on Patriotism On Parade—one of my very favorite Flourishes sets! I decided to make an invitation with mine—would this be great for a July 4th get together? I really love this!
The bunting images are from Patriotism On Parade, of course, and I added the lemonade image from On the Porch to finish it off. Both images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Classic White card stock, sponged with Antique Linen Distress Ink, and colored with Copic markers from these collections:
Poppy Collection:
Delphinium Collection:
Copper Collection:
Buttercup Collection:
Then I cut the lemonade image out with my Grand Calibur and Standard Circle Nestabilities. The sentiment was stamped on a Nested Pennant flag and popped up on foam.
For the inside, I printed off the Blossom Collection Invitation Blank and stamped the little parade from Patriotism On Parade at the top. It’s all ready to be filled in and mailed :)
Thanks so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to check out what the rest of the Flourishes team has to show you:

I also have a sad announcement to make. This is my last post as a Flourishes Senior Design Team member. Life is hectic and I needed to step back a little. HOWEVER. I won’t be TOO far away. I’ll be doing a couple posts for Flourishes each month for a brand new feature that starts next week and I hope to see you back for that! Thanks for all the sweet, sweet comments over these last months—every one has been so very appreciated.

Flourishes Friday Free For All–Happy 50th Anniversary

Happy Friday and welcome to Flourishes Friday Free For All! Today I have another card using the recently released Happily Ever After set.
First of all, I stamped an image from Wedded Bliss on Classic Ivory card stock, stamped with gold pigment ink and embossed with fine detail gold embossing powder. Then I cut it out with my Labels Eighteen Nestabilities and popped it up on black card stock cut with a Classic Oval Nestabilities die. For the card base, I used Classic Ivory, Metallic Card Stock – Gold, black, and more Classic Ivory.
I decided to use some black bling, but before I adhered it, I added some scoring in the upper right corner for balance. Then I added the bling, popped up the image element, and added the sentiment, from Happily Ever After on a strip of Classic Ivory card stock.
And that, as they say, is that! Thanks so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to check out what the rest of the Flourishes team has to show you:

Flourishes July Sneak, Day Three
Welcome to Day Three of Flourishes June Sneaks! I have a couple of projects for you today. But first, if you’ve been liking what you’ve seen this week, I’m happy to report that all of the Flourishes June sets are in the Flourishes store!
Are you ready for today’s reveal? Actually, we have a set and a digital download to help you celebrate all kinds of occasions!
First of all, a card using another new set, Happily Ever After. It’s a sentiment set that will go with many Flourishes sets. I’m using it with Summer Blossoms for an anniversary card. I stamped the images on Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with these Copic Collections:
Then I cut it out with my Labels Twenty Two Nestabilities die and sponged it with Antique Linen Distress Ink. My layout is pretty simple, but I did some stitching and tied a bow around and popped up my focal image on some foam.
Here’s the inside, with another image from each set:
Flourishes is also introducing an invitation digital download today. You can find it HERE—it’s a 4” x 6” PDF file for only $2. I think you’ll agree it will be a great addition to your stamping arsenal.
I’ve been wanting to host a Christmas Cookie Exchange party for years; since I have this fabulous idea in place, this just might be the year :)
I printed the invitation form off on some X-Press Copic coloring paper, stamped two images from Sweets Of the Season at the top, and colored it with these Copic Collections:
Poppy Collection:
Rich Brown Collection:
Buttercup Collection:
Then I matted it with red card stock and it was done! Very mail friendly, too :)
Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you today.

Flourishes Art and Letters Noon-Time Challenge
Are you ready for a little challenge? Today’s Flourishes Noon-Time Challenge has to do with creating a little art :) I’m all about that so this challenge was right up my alley!
This challenge is a simple one -- make art out of... Letters! Whether it's a simple monogram, or a decorative word to share - the highlight of this card or creation has to be all about letters! If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FLLCJUNERW2. All entries need to be in by June 15th at 5PM EST in order to be in the running to win our June release!
I’m using Letters In Blossom for my framed Christmas project. I used these soft pinks and greens in my living room and carry it through in my Christmas decorations for that room.
I started with an inexpensive prefinished 5 x 7 frame and distressed it up a bit with a sanding block and some distress stain. Then, I stamped the letters for “JOY” on
Lenten Rose Collection:
Rich Brown Collection:
…sponged it with some Antique Linen Distress Ink, matted it, and adhered it some matching patterned paper before putting it in the frame. Voila! Christmas art! I can’t wait to display this on a table or shelf this year!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you back tomorrow for the third and final day of June sneaks! But in the meantime, be sure to check out what a few other design team members have for this challenge and then join in!

Flowered Monogram - Flourishes June Sneak, Day Two
Here we are back with Day Two of Flourishes June Sneaks! Today we have what I think is a FABULOUS set with SO many possibilities! It’s called Letters In Blossom and I think you’ll agree it will come in handy for many things. Your comments tell us you loved yesterday’s set and I’m thinking today’s won’t be any different.
I decided to do a little note card with my monogram. Very simple layout that didn’t take long at all. I cut out my main focal image layer with my Labels Four Nestabilities and stamped my first two initials at either end. Then I stamped my last name initial and cut it out with a Standard Circle Nestie. After I colored them with these Copic collections…
…I popped the “A” up to create my monogram. I finished it off with some ribbon and some buttons. A set of cards like this would be a great gift for someone don’t you think?
Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you today.
