I’m Here For You–MFT Academy: Paper Piecing

Hi, everyone! Today I’m sharing one of the samples from my MFT Academy post on Paper Piecing. You can see the whole tutorial right HERE at the MFT Blog.

For this card I’m using PI – Goldfish Girl. I stamped her on my fave Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copic markers then paper pieced the scene. I stamped the sentiment on the image panel and, to finish it off, I tied around some hemp cord and then added a Die-namics Pretty Posies flower with a Berrylicious button center.

Hugs–MFT Academy: Paper Piecing

Hi, everyone! Today I’m sharing one of my samples from my MFT Academy post on Paper Piecing. You can see the whole tutorial at the MFT Blog.

For this card I’m using PI – Birthday Girl. I stamped her on my fave Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copic markers. Except her dress and the balloon, which I paper pieced. To finish it off, I tied around some hemp cord and then tied on a Tangy Orange button, then stamped the sentiment on a Die-namics Notched Tag Die Only and slipped it up under the button.

Hello–MFT Academy

Hey, everyone, today I’m sharing the last of my samples from my MFT Academy post in April on Recessed Stamping. Check out my tutorial HERE.

For this card I’m using LJD Sweet Roses and Die-namics LJD Roses and Leaves. I’m using Smooth White card stock throughout the design. The roses were stamped with Pink Lemonade ink, Black Licorice ink, and Sour Apple ink. The sentiment was stamped with Black Licorice ink on a Die-namics Designer Labels STAX 2 popped up on foam. I finished it off with some baker’s twine and a Pink Lemonade button.

For this card I’m using LJD Pretty Poppies and Die-namics LJD Poppies and Leaves. My card base is Sweet Tooth card stock. The sentiment was stamped with Black Licorice ink, the poppies with Orange Fizz ink, and the leaves with Jellybean Green ink. The center of the lower poppy was colored with Copic markers and I finished it off with a few flat-backed black beads.

For this card I’m using Inspired by Up, Up and Away and Die-namics Up, Up and Away. My card base is Sweet Tooth card stock with a layer of Kraft card stock. The sentiment was stamped with Black Licorice ink and the balloons were stamped with Blu Raspberry ink, Razzle Berry ink, and Orange Fizz ink. I finished it off with a Blu Raspberry button, a Razzle Berry button, and an Orange Fizz button.
