Today we’re previewing Christmas Cardinals Stamp Set, Christmas Cardinals Die-namics, Holly Jolly Cardinals Die-namics, Personalized Tags Die-namics, and Buffalo Plaid Background Stamp.



Oh, MY!! I can’t even with these cardinals!! I love cardinals so much and am so happy to have some to work with! As a Virginian, the cardinal is our state bird and we always have them at our feeders—such gorgeous birds! I’m truly over the moon delighted with these products this month>

So, I used Holly Jolly Cardinals Die-namics and had so much fun putting them together! To begin, I created my background using the also new Micro Edge Clouds Stencil—such dainty clouds, right?? I used Berrylicious dye ink for this and then popped that panel up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base. The cardinals and branches were cut out from a bunch of colors of card stock (see list below) and assembled them into super adorable birdies perched on their branches.

I wanted the cardinals to be the focal point of this card so the only other thing I did was to stamp the sentiment from Christmas Cardinals Stamp Set at the bottom with Extreme Black hybrid ink.

December MFT & Friends—New Product Release!!

All of out December Release products are available in the MFT Online Boutique NOW! Today our team is taking a fresh look at our most recent release with inspiring ideas and innovative takes on the complete collection. We love the opportunity to look at our products with fresh eyes, envisioning entirely new ways to showcase the possibilities they present. We can’t wait to share our ideas with you!

I hadn’t had a chance to use Christmas Tree Window Die-namics yet so I thought I’d make up for that omission by bringing you TWO cards using it. First up, a very dainty and elegant design that I wish you could see IRL. I tried and tried but could NOT capture it in a photo—I’m thinking because of all the shine and sparkle. To begin, I sponged some Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper with Blue Breeze Premium Dye Ink and heat embossed the sentiment from Hand-Lettered Holiday Stamp Set with silver detail embossing powder. Next I splattered this panel with gold and silver acrylic paint, slightly watered down, matted it with Silver Sparkle card stock after it dried.

I cut Christmas Tree Window Die-namics from Gold Shine card stock and trimmed around it so it could stand alone. It was decorated with Silver Sparkle card stock and popped up on foam tape on the card front. To finish, I popped it up on the card base to which I’d adhered some Gold Sparkle card stock.

The second card is a little more rustic in design.

I stamped some Kraft card stock with Versamark and a sentiment from Hand-Lettered Holiday Greetings Stamp Set then cut Christmas Tree Window Die-namics and created a shaker element. I backed it with an alcohol ink piece I’d created some time ago for kicks but which came in handy for this tree. It was filled with Silver and Gold Sparkle Seed Beads and I added Gold Sparkle card stock trimmings to the tree along with some Wild Cherry card stock “ornaments”.

I popped the card front up on foam tape and added the sentiment, from SY Sweet Holiday Penguins Stamp Set, heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder, on Jellybean Green Card Stock cut with Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics. It was popped up on foam and I finished off with some enamel dots.

I Am Praying for You–MFT November New Product Release

This simple Cross Die-namics pairs up SO well with the new Beautiful Blessings Stamp Set so I HAD to use them together on this card! I wanted them to both shine so I kept the rest of the card pretty simple and highlighted the cross with a floral arrangement. The cross will come in so handy for so many occasions! Births, weddings, holidays, and yes, even for condolences. The fact that it’s such a CAS design means you can do so much with it so let me show you what I did. To begin, I wanted some “light” rays emanating from it but I wanted it subtle so I dry embossed Radiating Rays Stencil on Some Sweet Tooth card stock for the background. I framed that with Elegant Rectangle STAX Die-namics and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base.



I cut Cross Die-namics from Gold Sparkle card stock and popped it up on foam tape for dimension, then added the bouquet of Mini Rolled Roses and Fab Foliage Die-namics. To finish off, I heat embossed the sentiment on Heavyweight Translucent Vellum with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I love this powder and don’t use it enough—it shows up better than white but is still unobtrusive in the design. I popped this up on clear foam tape and it was done. Tip: place bits of clear foam tape behind the sentiment and you won’t see it at all.

MFT July New Product Release!

Do you have your list ready? So many awesome goodies, right? I’m sharing this card using Playful Peacock Stamp Set and Die-namics along with Heart Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics tonight, and all supplies are listed below. I did a watercolor wash for the background and added some black and gold splatters to help tie things together. Then I created my shaker element, matted the card front to Gold Shine Card Stock and popped up on a Black Licorice card stock base.



I stamped the peacock on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black Hybrid ink, colored with Copic markers, and popped it up on foam on top of the sentiment, which was heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder. Loving that peacock!!

I have a couple of cards to share with you tonight using the amazing Flamazing stamp set and Flamazing Die-namics but first I want to say how tickled I am to have a project in this month’s Release Class. You can find it and four more classes from my super talented team mates at the PDF Classes section on the MFT Blog.




Now to my cards—they’re both CAS but one more so. The first one sports a watercolor washed background and a sentiment partially stamped with Well-Connected Alphabet and partially from the set.



It also has a die cut sun and a cloud and the flamingo is stamped on the coordinating die cut.

The second one is stamped directly onto the card front.



To give it more interest, it’s popped up on the base that is covered with Gray & White Basics Paper Pack with foam mounting tape.



I love both of these versions. Both are quick to make and the second one is very mail friendly.
