Hello, Hello, Hello…and Thank You!

hello3_2014dec28

Hello, everyone! I have yet another quick and easy thank you card for you today. Each of the three cards I’ve posted since Christmas would be good for mass producing, I think.

For this card, I started with a Grout Gray card stock base. On a piece of trimmed-down Sweet Tooth card stock I stamped Grid Background with Steel Gray dye ink in a grungy manner, then overstamped with images from Abstract Art with, from the top, Peach Bellini dye ink, Limelight dye ink, and Wild Wisteria dye ink. Then I over stamped them with “HELLO” from Photo Booth and Black Licorice dye ink. I popped that up on foam on the base, added some Sun, Moon, & Stars Die-namics cut from black glitter paper and some clear sequins.

More from the sets on the inside, along with Black Licorice card stock and Sweet Tooth card stock cut with dies from Blueprints 5 Die-namics and Blueprints 21 Die-namics.

Flowery Thanks

thanks_2014dec27

Hi, everyone, I’m back again today with another thank you card. This one might take a little longer than yesterday’s, but not much.

I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then popped up a Grout Gray card stock panel on which I stamped the chevron image from Desert Bouquet with Grout Gray ink. Next, on a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock, I stamped up some patterned paper using the flowers and foliage from Desert Bouquet and these inks: Peach Bellini dye ink, Persimmon dye ink, Tropical Teal dye ink, Limelight dye ink, Blueberry dye ink, Wild Wisteria dye ink, and Lemon Drop dye ink. Then I cut it out with a die from Many Thanks Die-namics and popped it up on foam. I finished off with some sweet little Raindrop embellishments that was in my Christmas gift from my bestie, Tammy Hershberger.

On the inside, I added a couple of layers: Tropical Teal card stock and Sweet Tooth card stock, cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics, Blueprints 21 Die-namics, and stamped with a sentiment from LJD Grand Greetings in Black Licorice dye ink.

Thanks

Happy Day After Christmas! Or Boxing Day, or whatever it is to you! Now that Christmas Day is over, it’s time to think about thank you cards. I’ve got several to show you over the next few days—all are quick and easy to make.

Today’s card starts with a Sweet Tooth card stock
base, on which I stamped the “string” image from LJD Whimsical Wishes with Black Licorice hybrid ink. On another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock I stamped one of the smaller scribbles from LJD Whimsical Wishes seven times with Black Licorice hybrid ink. Then, with a water brush and Wild Cherry dye ink, Persimmon dye ink, Lemon Drop dye ink, Limelight dye ink, Tropical Teal dye ink, Blueberry dye ink, and Wild Wisteria dye ink I “water colored” the scribbles. Next I stamped the sentiment, from LJD Sea Life, with Black Licorice hybrid ink and finished off with some black enamel dots.

Tip: since these were small images Sweet Tooth card stock worked fine—if I was going to do larger areas of water color I’d use water color paper.
On the inside, I added Black Licorice card stock and Sweet Tooth card stock layers, cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics and Blueprints 21 Die-namics, stamped with sentiments from Thankful Thoughts.
