If Friends Were Flowers I’d Pick You

Hi, everyone, I’m back with another card as Special Guest Designer for Whimsy Stamps. Today I have a card using the stamp set Lovely Lavender. And it is indeed lovely.





To begin, I did a watercolor wash on watercolor paper for my background, then I cut the center oval out and stamped the chicken wire image and part of the sentiment on the “frame” with black waterproof ink, then popped it up on foam tape for dimension.



I stamped the lavender, the butterflies, and the rest of the sentiment on the cut out oval then adhered it directly to the white card stock base and finished off with some clear sequins.

Whimsy Stamps Special Guest Designer!!

Hi, everyone, I’m tickled to tell you that I am a Special Guest Designer for Whimsy Stamps this month and I have a fun card to share with you today.






This card uses the totally cool You Complete Me Puzzle Pieces Die Set and the coordinating You Complete Me stamp set. It’s really a simple card but I love it. Using one of the puzzle pieces, I cut a rainbow of puzzle pieces from patterned paper and popped them up on foam tape on a white card stock card base.



The sentiment was stamped on black card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder than also popped up on foam. To finish off, I added some silver glitter hearts cut with the die set. Too cute!!
