Back again with Day Four of MFT's December teasers. Today we're showing you ALL-STAR Die-namics and Stamp Set and Always Time for Tea Die-namics and Stamp Set. I'm showing you Always Time for Tea Die-namics and Stamp Set. 

OMGosh! Would you just look at that adorable little teapot! And cup and saucer! All kinds of separate pieces so you can mix and match to design your own "pattern" :) Love it, love it, LOVE it!! And that's just the dies! The stamp set has several "pot" images plus lots of sentiments to help you make your one-of-a-kind card or project. I decided to make an invitation to tea for my project today. Who could resist this, right? 

Especially with this sentiment from the set on the inside.

Joy To the World - C4C #116

Hi, everyone! it's Crazy 4 Challenges time! Today's challenge is to make a card or project inspired by your favorite Christmas movie. MY favorite Christmas movie is Christmas Vacation. I LOL every time I see it! I chose the scene where they're trekking through knee-deep snow to find the perfect Christmas tree for my inspiration. The scenery was pristine and simply beautiful. I'm using three MFT sets for the front of my card: Inspired by Winter, Merry & Bright, and Inspired by Caged Bird. I had so much fun with my card last week I decided to airbrush my background again and use the Wonky Scallop Border Die-namics die for my snow. After I airbrushed the background, I stamped in the trees. To get the trees in the distance, I simply stamped off once and stamped them a little lower on the paper. 

Here's the inside with a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About Christmas, another bird, and more trees. AND, now I have another mail-friendly card to add to my stash!

Flourishes Friday - Focus on Calendars

It's time for Flourishes Friday! Today we're focusing on the 2012 Calendar Downloads. Get all the details at the Flourishes Blog. New format this year that you're bound to love! I need a calendar handy in my kitchen that would be easy to keep clean. I found this acrylic easel type holder in my alterables stash and knew it would be perfect! The calendar sheet just slips in and the front can be easily wiped off if needed. The above shot is NOT in the holder--I wanted you to see the calendar without the glare of the holder getting in the way.

For January, I decided to use Warm Winter Wishes because I'm hoping for snow! I'm going to be retired and nowhere I have to be so let it SNOW!! Love that sweet sentiment, too, don't you? I stamped the image on Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with these Copic Collections:

And here it is IN the holder. Love it!

Ready for another December teaser? Today we're showing you Clearly Sentimental about Christmas (previous Triple Scoop Set) and Pearls of Wisdom (Triple Scoop Set). Surprised I'm not using the Christmas set? Yeah, so am I, LOL! But I love Pearls of Wisdom, too, so I thought I'd use it this time. I'm also using a new flower Die-namics die set called Fringed Perennial. Look at that center!!! And the score lines on the petals? Can you see them? The dimension on this flower is phenomenal! AND, I'm using the over-the-top fabulous Oval Open Scallop Doily Die-namics again today--I'm thinking that die is going to see lots of use.

I also used part of the Sweet Stack and Layered Labels Die-namics sets for my focal image. I just LOVE how the MFT Die-namics play well together :) You'll notice I used the Leafy Flourish under my flower and I used the Crown Border Die-namics die on the front and the inside, along with another sentiment from the set.

Welcome back to Day Two of MFT December teasers. Today we're showing you Inspired by Flowers (Set 4), Inspired by Months of the Year, and Fred Bear Gives Comfort. I'm showing you Inspired by Flowers (Set 4) and Inspired by Months of the Year - the perfect accompaniment for the Inspired by Flowers line. I chose to use the sweet paperwhite narcissus included in the flower set, and since they're white with that pop of orange in the center, I decided to keep my card white--or mostly so.

I'm using the soon-to-be-released Oval Open Scallop Doily for my flower, on which I only added some gray for shading and, of course, the orange center. My ribbon and mat layer are a soft gray and the month was cut out with a die from the Sweet Stack Die-namics set.
