MFT September New Product Launch

I have a couple of cards to tempt you with tonight using Fall Friends and Fall Friends Die-namics. First up a not-so-scary scarecrow, stamped on X-Press It Blending card with Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored with Copic markers. I added texture to his straw hat by dabbing it with a paper towel soaked in Blending Solution after it was colored. He’s accompanied by a pumpkin from the set to which I added “vines” created with an image from Bold Blooms. The background was sponged on Smooth White card stock with Blue Breeze dye ink and Jellybean Green dye ink and the sentiment was stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink.



I cut the side with Stepped Up Chevron Die-namics, added an accent of Black Licorice card stock cut with Stepped Up Chevron Die-namics and then popped up on foam mounting tape on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with some Tiny Check Brights Paper Pack added. I finished off with a Blueprints 21 Die-namics sun and some Puffy Clouds Die-namics.

Next up, a field of sunflowers. Reminds me of Tuscany. Sigh :)



I created my background by applying a wash to Ranger Watercolor Paper with Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush, then splattered it with clear water. The sunflowers were cut from Ranger Watercolor paper, colored with Peerless Watercolors, and popped up on foam as was the birdie.



The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock cut with Blueprints 25 Die-namics and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder before also being popped up on foam. My card base was made from Sweet Tooth card stock.

MFT September Release Countdown, Day One

Hello there! Welcome to Day One of MFT’s September Release Countdown! Everything we’ve been previewing will be available tonight, September 6th, at 10pm EDT in the MFT Online Boutique! Today we’re previewing Fall Friends, Fall Friends Die-namics, Twice the Wishes, Interactive Birthday Cake Die-namics, Sweet Celebration Paper Pack, Slider Elements, and Free with $60 Stepped Up Chevron Die-namics.

I have a couple of cards for you today so let’s get started. First of all, I want you to know that Interactive Birthday Cake Die-namics is NOT just for birthdays ;-) To demonstrate, I created a wedding card using it. I wanted to give the background a little interest so I dry embossed Sweet Tooth card stock with Split Chevron Cover-Up. My card base was created with Stone Gray card stock.



I used Lined Up Dots Background, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder for the icing decoration and LJD All Heart and LJD All Heart Die-namics for the topper. The sentiments are from Essential Sentiments and the hearts cut from Wild Cherry card stock with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics. Foam mounting tape created dimension.

My second card uses Fall Friends.



I used Sweet Tooth card stock for my base. For the background I applied Peerless Watercolors with a waterbrush on Ranger Watercolor paper and popped it up with foam mounting tape. I added Single Stitch Line Circle Frames Die-namics to tie everything together. The images were stamped on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Black Licorice hybrid ink, watercolored with Zig Clean Color markers and then popped up on foam.



The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. The birdie’s notes are from BB Strike Up the Band and I finished off with Puffy Clouds Die-namics.
