Halfway to the Big Day--Three Days Until MFT's October Release!

 


Hello and welcome to Day Three of MFT's October Release Countdown! Release is in three days, October 11th, at 10am Eastern so make a note! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! Today we're previewing Peaceful Dove Die-namics, Peaceful Greenery Die-namics, Hope Die-namics, Peace Die-namics, Inside & Out Christmas Greetings Stamp Set, Tree-mendous Friends Stamp Set, and Tree-mendous Friends Die-namics.       

I do love this Peaceful Dove Die-namics! And Peace Die-namics is simply gorgeous, as well!! For this card, I also used Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics and Wonderful Woods Stamp Set. To begin, I created a night snow scene by spattering white craft paint on Blue Beyond card stock. Wonderful Woods was heat embossed with white detail embossing powder.

Next I added Stitched Snow Drifts cut from Smooth White card stock across the bottom, along with Peace Die-namics, cut from silver sparkle card stock with two layers of white card stock on the back for dimension. 

Peaceful Dove Die-namics was cut from Smooth White, Green Apple, and Orange Zest card stocks, assembled, and popped up on foam.

Today we're previewing Cool MSTN Christmas Greetings Stamp Set, MSTN Cool Christmas Trees Die-namics, Snow Buddy Die-namics, Mod & Merry Stamp Set, and Colorful Christmas Patterned Paper Pad.

Mod and Merry Stamp Set is awesome!! I can totally see using this to mass produce cards with this set! I just love how it shines in gold embossing. To begin, I sponged Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper with Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Inks. I LOVE the cobalt blue background for my gold tree!!

Once that was dry, I heat embossed the tree with gold detail embossing powder then spattered it with gold acrylic ink with a small art brush. Once dry, I matted the stamped panel with gold shine card stock and adhered it to a Black Licorice card stock base. 

A star, cut from Gold Shine card stock with Tag Builder Blueprints 6 Die-namics was popped up on foam at the top of the tree. The sentiment, from the set, was also heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder on Black Licorice card stock and also popped up on foam to finish off.

Countdown Kickoff - Five Days Until MFT's October Release!

Today we're previewing SY Holiday Hello Stamp Set, SY Holiday Hello Die-namics, Surprise Stitched Tag Die-namics, First Snowfall Stencil, and Christmas Text Patterned Paper Pad.

What a sweet stamp set this is!! Everything You need to create a darling snowy scene while sending all the Christmas feels! To begin, I sponged Drifts and Hills Stencil with Stormy Sky Distress ink, stamped the sentiment from the set, then applied snow through the new First Snowfall Stencil and set it aside to dry.

The images were stamped on No Line coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers.

Once the images were adhered on the background with foam tape. this card was done!

I'm Bats About You - Color Throwdown Challenge #712

 

Hey there and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! His week I'm the hostess and I've got a fun palette for you to play with--I love cobalt blue and orange together! Hope to see lots of you playing along with us this week!

I sponged my night sky using Broken China, Blueprint Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks then spattered white craft ink for the starry night sky and set it aside to dry.

Images from BB Witch Way is the Candy? Stamp Set were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics and colored with Copic Markers. Chantilly Cream card stock was cut with Grassy Terrain Die-namics and adhered behind and in front of Heartfelt Fence Die-namics cut from Kraft card stock. The sentiment was stamped before popping the front element up on foam tape.

The dry background was adhered to a Smooth White card stock base with foam tape and the colored images popped up on foam for the finish.

What a fun kit this is!! I love creating these little room scenes--it's like decorating a doll house!! For this card, I feel like I'm walking up to the counter for a great cup of coffee!! I don't know about you, but if I were feeling under the weather I'd LOVE to get a card like this!

I'm using Floor to Ceiling Patterned paper for the wall and floor, Bistro Basics Die-namics for the counter, and Industrial Finishes Die-namics for the heat/AC and lighting. The sentiment is from Coffee Order Stamp Set.

Be Your Own Barista Die-namics provided the coffee maker and mugs, and Pots and Plants Die-namics are responsible for the...well, the pots and plants ;-) and Make a Sigh Die-namics and Stamp Set for the sign. All card stock colors are listed below.
