Are You Ready? Two Days Until MFT's March Release!

 

 Hello and welcome to Day Two of MFT's March Release Countdown! Release is in two  days, March 26th, at 10am Eastern so make a note! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! Today we're previewing SY Beauty of Spring Stamp Set and Die-namics and YUZU Ear for You Stamp Set and Die-namics.

 

 To begin, on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper, I sponged my background using Lazy Day Dye Ink and Rolling Clouds Stencil, with a little Cement Gray sponged at the bottom for grounding. I had planned my layout in my head so then stamped the sentiment from SY Beauty of Spring Stamp Set then adhered the card front to a Porcelain White Card Stock base.

Next i stamped a bunch of the tulip images from the set on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them with the coordinating Die-namics and colored them with Copic markers.

I did the same with the cute-as-can-be bumble bees, arranged all the colored images on the card front and popped them up on foam tape for dimension. I hope you love my field of Spring tulips as much as I do!

Today we're previewing PI Important Peep Stamp Set and Die-namics, PI On the Mend Stamp Set and Die-namics, PI Bundle of Love Stamp Set and Die-namics, PI Healing Love Stamp Set and Die-namics, Stitched Eyelet Lace Rectangle STAX, and Stitched Eyelet Lace Circle STAX.

I'm so excited to see four new PI stamp sets and couldn't wait to play with one!! I'm using PI Healing Love Stamp Set and Die-namics along with Stitched Eyelet Lace Rectangle STAX for my card today. To begin, I covered a Porcelain White card stock base with Pretty in Plaid Patterned Paper and set it aside.

 

The image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers. Stitched Eyelet Lace Rectangle STAX was cut from Ranger Watercolor paper and had a watercolor wash applied then was popped up on the card base with foam tape.

The sentiment was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock, adhered with foam tape, as was the colored image. I finished off with some matching enamel dots.

Today we're previewing JB Wings and Wishes Stamp Set and Die-namics, JB You Rescued Me Stamp Set and Die-namics, JB Girls' Night In Stamp Set and Die-namics, Stitched Center Strip Cover-Up Die-namics, and Stitched High/Low Strip Cover-Up Die-namics.

 

I'm using JB Wings and Wishes Stamp Set and Die-namics along with Stitched High/Low Strip Cover Up Die-namics for my card today. The image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black Hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers.

The background was done with a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor paper and adhered to a Porcelain White card stock base after the sentiment was stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink. Stitched High/Low Strip Die-namics was cut from Poppin' Polka Dots Paper Pad and popped up on foam tape for dimension.

The image was also adhered with foam tape and the card was finished off with a few enamel dots.

What's Cookin'? MFT's November Card Kit Release!

 

Hello and welcome to the release of What's Cookin'?, MFT's November Card Kit. This kit is SO much fun to play with so be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! You are going to want it, trust me!

I actually used ALL the product in the kit for this card!! I just couldn't stop! My background is, again, Floor to Ceiling Patterned Paper Pad, covering my entire card base. Once that was done I started die cutting the large items like the stove and cabinets, assembled them, stamped the sentiment, and popped the components up on foam for dimension. Then I decided what colors my accessories were going to be and went to town--I have actually seen a microwave that color at Lowe's, LOL and that was what inspired my color choices! Then it was just a matter of adding the accessories to the scene and it was done!
