Mornin', all! Today's Flourishes Friday Focus is on dimension, brought to us by Christine. Be sure to see what she has to say at the Flourishes blog.
For my card, I decided to use one of my favorite sets: Life, Love and Lemons. I love this lemon topiary--I grew a Meyer Lemon in a pot once--just to say I did it, LOL! Then it got to be too much trouble to take inside for the winter, etc., so I gave it away This image always reminds me of that plant.
I stamped the image on Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers. I cut it out with a Long Classic Rectangle Nestabilities die and matted it with a layer cut from a Long Classic Scalloped Nestabilties die. Then I stamped just the pot twice more, colored the entire pot again, plus just the rim from the third copy. To create dimension, I popped each additional layer up on bits of foam adhesive. Here's a close up so you can see the dimension.
And that's it! Here are the Copic markers I used:
Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out all of the dimension that the rest of the Flourishes team has to show you.
