MFT June Teaser, Day Two

 

Welcome to Day Two of MFT’s June Teasers! Today we’re showing you two sets: Fred Bear and the Pinwheel and Inspired by Travel, but first…

Alrighty, then, let’s get down to the card. Fred was stamped on my fave Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 130lb paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers. I used the washcloth technique to give him some curly fur, then fussy cut him out. Then, I stamped the pinwheel part twice on patterned paper and paper pieced it to match the Die-namics Perfect Pinwheel that I added to the card. To finish off the center of Fred’s pinwheel, I simply inserted a tiny yellow brad and then popped him up on foam.

I used a Die-namics Fishtail Flag STAX element, a Die-namics Notched Border, and a sentiment tag made with another soon-to-be-released Die-namics Traditional Tags STAX (be still my heart), tied on with some Mandarin Orange Baker’s Twine.
