Today’s project is a special thank you gift for a friend. She loves herbal teas, so this sweet little wooden “bag” is full of tea bags for her.

First of all, I painted the “bag” with craft paint. Then I covered the front with some pretty patterned paper and distressed it up a bit with ink and a sanding block and set it aside. I stamped the à la modes image and and did some coloring and otherwise paper pieced the rest. Here’s a close up of the layers and the dimension I was able to achieve. I popped the tea bag label up on foam bits and added a hemp cord “string”, as well :)

Then I cut out the new Die-namics Looped Border and molded it into an arch that would fit the handle of the “bag”.

I glued that down and added a seam binding bow with a Razzle Berry button tied on with hemp cord. I cut out a Die-namics Traditional Tags STAX

die cut, stamped a sentiment on it, and attached it under the button.

Here are the products that will be released on December 11 that I used on this project:

Here is the previously released
Die-namics die I used on this project:

And that’s it! I hope she likes it! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Six!
