OK, enough of that, LOL. You want to see the stuff, right? Today I'm showing you a new set called In the Background that has a background stamp, among others. The stamped backgound is the cross-hatch design you see on the horizontal element. How cool is that? I stamped the image on PTI Spring Moss paper with SU! Mellow Moss ink, layered it on Old Olive, and stitched around it. The tea kettle is also in the set (it has two more images, as well). I stamped it on a Perfect Paper Panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored the handle with Copic markers and paper pieced the kettle itself. I added some shading with Copic markers to the kettle, too. Some black grosgrain ribbon and some buttons tied on with twine finish this one off. I love the "country" feel of it!
Thanks for stopping by today! I'll have another sneaky peek tomorrow :)
