Welcome to this week’s Color Throwdown challenge! Vickie has chosen a REALLY pretty color palette for us to work with this week. Before I go on, though, I’m sad to announce that Lynn Put has stepped down from the team. We’ll miss your gorgeous creations, Lynn, but we understand your need for more time.
OK, on to my card. With these bold colors I decided to go white for my base. I have a Sweet Tooth card stock base, a Sweet Tooth card stock layer, and then a Sweet Tooth card stock layer cut with Die-namics Modern Morocco.
I cut and stamped the flowers, using Die-namics LJD Wildflowers and LJD Peaceful Wildflowers in the challenge colors on Sweet Tooth card stock and tied them together with silver cord. The sentiment, also from the set, was stamped on an elongated Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon flag with Steel Gray ink and popped up on foam, and finished it off by popping the flower cluster up on foam as well.
For the inside, I simply stamped another sentiment from the set.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD261 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
