It’s Wednesday! And that means it’s Color Throwdown time! I’m hosting this week and STILL adding to my Christmas card stash!
My card is pretty simple in design and definitely mail friendly so that’s a big win-win! I started with a Black Licorice card stock base. Then I stamped Sheet Music Background on Sweet Tooth card stock with Black Licorice ink and popped that up on foam. I cut two copies of Winter Wreath Die-namics from Sour Apple card stock and adhered it them popped up a Wild Cherry card stock bow. I colored some clear gems with Copic markers in the red and pink colors and added them, then heat embossed the sentiment, from Cheerful Christmas Greetings stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Sweet Tooth pigment ink. I popped that up on foam and it was done!
The inside has another sentiment from the set.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD271 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our December Guest Designer! Since this month will be a short month due to the holidays, Cindy Lawrence has graciously agreed to continue into December with us!
