Hi, everyone! Have you been loving the countdown? Such fabulous products being released tonight, right? Everything you’ve been seeing is available for purchase right now in the MFT Boutique! To help get you inspired, I have some cards to show you using the new Polka Dot Cover-Up Die-namics.
First up, how about a rainbow? For this card I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then cut Polka Dot Cover-Up Die-namics from more Sweet Tooth card stock and adhered it to the card base. I cut out strips of dots using Wild Cherry card stock, Orange Fizz card stock, Lemon Drop card stock, Jellybean Green card stock, Blu Raspberry card stock, and Grape Jelly card stock and adhered the dots in the holes in a rainbow pattern.
Then I cut Layered Champagne Glass Die-namics from silver glitter paper and the “champagne” from pale gold glitter paper and popped it up on foam. I cut “cheers” from Black Licorice card stock using Celebratory Greetings Die-namics and popped it up on foam, too. I stamped the sentiment, from December’s Free With $60 set, Celebrate Big, on Sweet Tooth card stock with Black Licorice ink and hand cut it out, popping it up on foam, as well.
On the inside, I stamped another sentiment from Celebrate Big.
*****
My next card starts with a Kraft Card stock base, then I popped up a Primitive White card stock layer cut with Polka Dot Cover-Up Die-namics, lined with a layer of Berrylicious card stock.
Next, I cut out a MPD Damask Designs Die-namics element from Primitive White card stock and stamped it with the coordinating image from MPD Damask Designs with Black Licorice ink and popped it up on foam. To finish it off, I cut “congrats” from Celebratory Greetings Die-namics using Tangy Orange card stock and popped it up, too.
I stamped the same sentiment from Celebrate Big on the inside of this card.
*****
For my third card I went I little vintag-y. I started with an Insulation Pink card stock base, then created some “patterned paper” by stamping Typewriter Text Background on Sweet Tooth card stock with Black Licorice ink, then overlaying it with Kraft card stock cut with Polka Dot Cover-Up Die-namics.
I added a piece of Black Licorice ribbon, then stamped the largest image from MPD Damask Designs on the matching MPD Damask Designs Die-namics die cut and popped it up. I stamped the sentiment, from LJD Grand Peaceful Wildflowers on a First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics and anchored either end with a hemp cord tied Insulation Pink button.
Another sentiment from Celebrate Big was stamped on the inside.
*****
For my final card, I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then ran another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock through my die cutting machine in embossing mode with Polka Dot Cover-Up Die-namics.
I cut a window from that using my Oval STAX Die-namics and popped the layer up on foam. Then I created a bouquet using LJD Grand Peaceful Wildflowers and LJD Grand Peaceful Wildflowers Die-namics on Sweet Tooth card stock using Jellybean Green ink, Wild Cherry ink, Grape Jelly ink, Bubblegum ink, Orange Fizz ink, and Lemon Drop ink. The sentiment, also from LJD Grand Peaceful Wildflowers, was stamped on a Banner Greetings Die-namics die cut with Steel Gray ink and popped up on foam.
Another sentiment from LJD Grand Peaceful Wildflowers was stamped on the inside with Steel Gray ink.
