It won’t be long now! MFT’s April release is tomorrow night, April 8th, at 10pm and today is Day Two of the Release Countdown! Today we’re previewing LLD Happy Graduation, LLD Graduation Accents Die-namics, Gerbera Daisy Die-namics – April’s Free with $60 set, and LLD Bright Lights Numbers and Symbols Die-namics. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see what the other designers have for you using these products.
Sometimes you want to use school colors for a graduation card but sometimes you might want to get some made ahead. Black and gold are good “generic” colors so that’s what I went with for my card today. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then stamped the “Happy Graduation” sentiment from LLD Happy Graduation all over a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock with Encore Gold ink. I matted that with Black Licorice card stock then adhered it to my base.
Then I cut a strip of Sweet Tooth card stock and adhere the “Class of” die cut from LLD Graduation Accents Die-namics to it, along with “2014” using LLD Bright Lights Numbers and Symbols Die-namics. To finish it off, I cut the mortar board from LLD Graduation Accents Die-namics from Black Licorice card stock, popped the extra piece up on foam for dimension, and added a gold tassel before popping the whole thing up on the sentiment strip.
Another sentiment from LLD Happy Graduation was stamped on the inside with Black Licorice ink.
And that’s it for today! Thanks SO much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for the final day of April’s Release Countdown!
