Welcome to this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Karen has a gorgeous sketch for us to work with this week—even if it was square, LOL! I went with 4 1/4” square again.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then added a layer of Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Floral Fusion Cover-Up Die-namics. At the bottom I added a panel of Kraft card stock stamped with Versamark and the hounds tooth background from DC Large Scale Backgrounds. Onto that I added a couple of Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics die cuts, one from Black Licorice card stock and the other Typewriter Text Background stamped with Black Licorice Hybrid ink on Sweet Tooth card stock.
Next I adhered an Open Scallop Doily Duo Die-namics cut from Black Licorice card stock onto which I stamped a sentiment from LJD Cheerful Blessings with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I followed that up with a couple of Leafy Flourish Die-namics cut from Sour Apple card stock and several roses, cut with Royal Rose Die-namics and Mini Royal Roses Die-namics from Orange Fizz card stock, Bubblegum card stock, and Banana Split card stock.
Another sentiment from the set was stamped on the inside with Black Licorice Hybrid ink.
