Hi, everyone, I’m back again with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

OK, I don’t mind admitting this one whipped me. I was totally hitting the wall on ideas for it, but my BFF Tammy made a couple of suggestions and one gave me a bit of a jump start. Not my most favorite card of all time, but it beats what I had ;-) I started with a Steel Gray card stock base, then, with a piece of Ranger Watercolor paper, I dry embossed one of the stars from LLD Lucky Stars Die-namics and brushed on some Summer Splash dye ink, Tickled Pink dye ink, and Peach Bellini dye ink with a water brush. I stamped the sentiment, from LLD Count the Stars with Steel Gray dye ink, and added a gold mirror paper LLD Lucky Stars Die-namics. I cut 5 copies—one from the gold paper and three from yellow scraps, glued them together for dimension, and adhered them to the card in the fourth element position. I tied around some hemp cord with gold thread, added some gold glitter paper stars and called it done!

Another sentiment from LLD Count the Stars was stamped on the inside.
