Birthdays Rock and So Do You–C4C #328

Hi, everyone, welcome to a brand new Crazy 4 Challenges! It’s sketch week and here it is. As you can see, I flipped it on it’s side for my card.

I started with a Stone Gray card stock base, then added a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Sheet Music Background and Black Licorice hybrid ink, popped up on foam mounting tape with baker’s twine tied ‘round. Next I created my scene using Ranger Watercolor Paper with a watercolor wash done with Peerless Watercolors around some houses from London Mouse. I added some Sour Apple card stock cut with Grassy Fields Die-namics, a sun, cut with Blueprints 21 Die-namics from Sunshine card stock, and Puffy Clouds Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock.

I cut BB Strike Up the Band from more watercolor paper, stamped with coordinating images from BB Strike Up the Band, and colored them with Peerless Watercolors and a small water brush. I popped them up on foam on pavement I created with Giraffe Stencil and Asphalt Texture Paste—this stuff is awesome!! Really looks like asphalt!

And that's it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you!

THEN, you know what to do--we'd love to have you come along and play with us. Just do your thing with the challenge and link it to Mr. Linky on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Please link directly to your project. And, if you upload to a public gallery, please use the key word C4C327.

Thanks for stopping by today—see you soon!

  1. I love the little scene you created with the sweet marching band bunnies! The music paper is perfect for it and what a clever stencil cobblestone walkway!
