MFTWSC297_2016sep8

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

Another fun and versatile sketch this week! I started with a Kraft card stock base. Then, on some Ranger Watercolor Paper, I repeatedly stamped an image from LJD Geometric Greenery with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. Then I created a background using the “smooshing” technique with a piece of clear acetate and Jellybean Green dye ink, Safety Orange dye ink, Orange Zest dye ink, and Persimmon dye ink and popped that up on the base with foam mounting tape.

I cut Thanks & Hello Die-namics from Jellybean Green card stock three times, adhered them together, then adhered it to the card base. With Safety Orange dye ink, I stamped Label Maker Sentiments on Sweet Tooth card stock, popped it up on foam, and called it done!

And that’s it for today!Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!

  1. This is stunning. The leaves pop against that gorgeous smooshed background, and the triple layered sentiment gives a wonderful solidity that holds all the other details together. Totally fantastic! Esther
