Hi, everyone, it’s time for another Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Jodi is our hostess and she has chosen some preppy colors based on her gorgeous inspiration piece
I usually get some inspiration from the piece but not this time, LOL! I love dark blue wine bottles so I got out my Wine Service Die-namics and colored one up. I cut it and the glass from X-Press It Blending Card and colored them with Copic markers. The label was stamped on Sweet Tooth card stock with Romantic Script Background and Delicata Gold pigment ink and the foil was cut from Brushed Gold card stock.
I popped them up on a background stenciled with English Brick Wall Stencil and embossing paste to simulate a wall and created a “bar top” with White Birch Adhesive-Backed Sheet with the sentiment from Uncorked stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink. To finish off I added a Cheers Die-namics cut from Brushed Gold card stock and some sequins.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD445 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd445 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our incredibly talented May Guest Designer, Amy Tsuruta!
