MFTWSC360_2017nov22

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

This was a fun sketch! I started my card but applying a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor paper and set it aside to dry. Then I created my trees for the vertical elements using Birch Trees and Solid Birch Trees Die-namics and added the leaves for a touch of Fall color (card stock colors listed below). To achieve the rounded corner treatment I simple scored and folded the corner down, securing it with a Ranger Tiny Attacher.

I popped that up on the base on foam tape, added the trees, and then the sentiment from Essential Sentiments. It was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics, then popped up on foam.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
