Sending Prayers–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #364

MFTWSC364_2017dec20

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I wanted to used that focal image as a window so I created a serene scene outside by sponging and stamping Modern Trees. I used Translucent Vellum for the curtains to look like sheers. Since the top background was pretty plain, I dry embossed Radiating Rays Stencil for some interest and texture.

I adhered some Black & White Basics patterned paper across the bottom, and a strip of Black Licorice card stock across the center with the sentiment, from Deepest Sympathy, heat embossed beside the window.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

  1. How beautiful! Love the die cuts, including the sheer curtains, the embossed background, and the soft coloring.
