Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

This is such a great sketch! You can keep it CAS or you can dress it up! I decided to dress it up and as I was brainstorming some ways to do that I came up with three ideas that I really liked. I couldn’t decide which ONE to do so I did all three! The basics are the same on all three, I changed up the patterned paper from Petite Plaid Paper Pack for that little strip, the color of glitter card stock used on Happy Christmas Die-namics, and the stamped “embellishments” I used.

For the first one, I used Mermaid Glitter card stock for the Happy Christmas Die-namics element and then stamped three holly clusters from Tweet Holidays Stamp Set, colored them with Copic markers, and fussy cut them out before adhering them with foam tape to the card front, which is also popped up on foam tape on all three cards.

For the second one, I used Sunset Glitter Card Stock and an ornament from BB Happy Pawlidays Stamp Set—also colored with Copic markers and fussy cut out, then adhered with foam tape.

For the third one, I hand drew the Christmas lights cord with a dark green Copic Multiliner then added the lights, also from BB Happy Pawlidays, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut out before popping them up on bits of foam tape.

Each one was a ton of fun to make! I needed some cards for money gifts for my housekeeper, hair dresser, and nail tech (yes, I’m high maintenance) and using the same basic design for all three was a load off my brain, LOL! They did take some time, but I’m thinking they will each love whichever one they get.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
