To the Best Teacher–Two Days Until MFT’s September Release!

Hi there, welcome to Day Two of MFT’s September Release Countdown! It’s almost here—two more days and you can get your hands on all the super cute products being released this month! Be sure to make a note and stop by the MFT Blog for all the details. Today we’re previewing BB Favorite Teacher, BB Favorite Teacher Die-namics, BB Lessons in Love, BB Lessons in Love Die-namics, and Skinny Stripes – Horizontal.

I sure wish I’d had this set when my DH was teaching! It’s perfect for a teacher appreciation card among other occasions. I wanted to create a classroom scene so first I applied molding paste on Grout Gray card stock through Small Brick Wall Stencil and set it aside to dry. Next, I stamped Marble Background on Sweet Tooth card stock with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut it with Square STAX Set 2 to use a floor tile and adhered them with foam tape. Then I created my black board by making a frame using A2 Rectangle Frames, Kraft card stock, and Wood Plank Background. The sentiment was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock using the chalkboard technique and adhered to the back of the frame, then popped up on foam tape.

To complete the scene, the image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored it with Copic markers, and added it to the scene with foam tape. I love how this turned out!

And that’s it from me for Day Two of MFT’s September Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day One—the last day before Release!
