We’re lighting it up this month with this fabulous card kit, Merry & Bright!! There are so many unique possibilities with this kit—you’re going to love it!! Release is in two days, September 22 at 10am, Eastern so make a note. Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details and more inspiration from the Design Team.
For this card I went all glitzy using Silver Sparkle and Gold Sparkle card stocks along with Black Licorice card stock for the cords and sockets. First of all, I sponged Broken China Distress Ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper for my background. Then I cut out my components, using Christmas Lights Die-namics, and laid them all out for placement. The shadows on each bulb was done with a Copic marker.
Once I had my placement nailed down, I heat embossed a sentiment from Merry & Bright Stamp Set with gold detail embossing powder and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape and added the die cut components for the finish. I love this sparkly card!!
And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you back tomorrow for Day One of MFT’s September Card Kit, Merry & Bright Countdown!
