I Am Grateful for You - MFT Color Challenge #157

Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, Kraft, Milk Choclate. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

What an interesting color combo, right? I gave it a little thought and decided that Brilliant Butterflies Stamp Set and Die-namics would make a great focal image for these colors. So to begin, I stamped the butterfly using Milk Chocolate, Summer Splash, and Tropical Teal dye inks and cut it out with the coordinating Die-namics.

For my background I sponged Summer Splash dye ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base. I added Grande Greenery - Solid and Grand Greenery - Outlines Die-namics cut from Kraft card stock and adhered with foam bits.

The sentiment from Bitty Thanks & Gratitude Stamp Set was heat embossed with Khaki embossing powder on Milk Chocolate card stock cut with Essential Stitched Sentiment Strips and also adhered with foam tape.

To finish the butterfly was popped up on foam and glitter enamel dots in the challenge colors.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! See you soon!

  1. Such a soft looking card-if that makes sense. It's not too bright and could probably be used for a get well or sympathy. I just love it.
