Final Countdown - One Day Until MFT's May Release!

Hello and welcome to Day One of MFT's May Release Countdown! Release is in one day, May 4th, at 10am Eastern so set your clocks! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! Today we're previewing Right at Home Stamp Set, My Neighborhood Die-namics, PI Champ Stamp Set, PI Champ Die-namics, PI Goal Getter Stamp Set, and PI Goal Getter Die-namics.

I just had to use this winner and thought a "medal" to showcase the sentiment would be a cute twist. To begin, the image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers.

The "medal" was created by cutting Linked Octagon Frames Die-namics from Gold Shine card stock. The sentiment and image from Mother's Day Bouquet Stamp Set was stamped on Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Tag Builder Blueprints Die-namics then adhered with foam tape.

To create the background, I stamped Scattered Triangles Background on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and sponged with Lazy Day dye ink. The "floor" was sponged with Cement Gray dye ink and the sentiment stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink.

The "medal' was popped up on the background with foam tape with ribbon threaded through one link, wrapped around to the back. The card front was then matted with Gold Shine card stock and popped up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base, covered with Poppin' Polka Dots Patterned Paper.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for the May MFT and Friends Feature!

  1. What a wonderful idea with the larger medal..it really does set the tone. Liked that you used the main colors of red, white and blue! Very patriotic.
