Lucky enough

OK, on to today's card! This card is for four challenges! Mojo Monday #74 (sketch), The Pink Elephant (use glitter), No Time to Stamp's Stamp Simply Challenge #75 (use only black ink), and CCEE (Catchy Name Featured Stamper).

My base card is Whisper White with layers of Garden Green, green from a Die Cuts With a View glitter pack, and glittered DP.
The next elements are Garden Green and Kiwi Kiss. The focal image/sentiment was stamped on Whisper White with Basic Black ink, cut embossed with a square Nestabilities die and matted with Garden Greem. It's "framed" with a layer of green glitter papered matted with Garden Green. I Kiwi Kiss/Vanilla reversable ribbon knot was tied around the "frame" and two silk shamrocks and a Kiwi Kiss look alike provide an accent. I think I have all the challenge requirements covered on this card.

Thanks for dropping by! Hope to see you back soon!

Just because

This card is for Mojo Monday 73 sketch challenge and this week's CCEE Challenge, which is a color challenge this week: pink, Kraft, and white. Anything with Kraft and I'm ready, LOL.

My base card is Whisper White with layers of Kraft, Pretty In Pink, and a luscious kraft DP by Bo Bunny called Lunch Sack Vine. I picked up a couple double sided sheets of this and I already know I need to get more while it's available. LOVE it!! The reverse is kraft with white vines (see below). The next element is Kraft with Pretty In Pink. The focal image was stamped on Whisper White with a stamp from Inkadinkado's Floral Flourishes set in Pretty In Pink craft ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I added a Petal Pink Liquid Pearl to the center of the largers flower. It's matted on Pretty In Pink DSP from the Prints Pack and Kraft. Following the sketch, I punched a slot in one end of the focal image and ran a pink gingham ribbon through and tied it in a bow. I made a stick pin and added it to the bow, along with a couple of gold Dew Drops for balance. The sentiment was stamped on Whisper White with Close To Cocoa ink using a stamp from MFT's Essential Sentiments set. It was punched out with the Word Window punch, layered on Pretty In Pink and Kraft punched with oval punches and is up on 3M foam squares. I like this sketch and I really like these colors together--a nice soft look.

Thanks for droppin in!

Love is in the air

This card is for Mercy's sketch challenge #25--just a wee bit late ;-). But that's OK, it's a great sketch and it was fun to do. It also qualifies for CCEE Stampers' challenge today: use a fish or fish lips on your card. I've been wanting to do this little Fluffles stamp and this was a perfect sketch with which to use him.

My base card is Chocolate chip, the next layer is Real Red and the next is Pretty In Pink, run through my Cuttlebug with the Love Language folder. The focal image was stamped on Papertrey Ink's Stamper's Select White Cardstock with Chocolate Chip craft ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder (I tried several times with Momento ink and the fish kept bleeding outside the lines!). It was then colored with copics (see below). Then it was cut/embossed with an oval Nestabilities die and matted on Pretty In Pink and Chocolate chip. Three flat-backed hearts accent the bottom of the A 1" red gingham bow (I love the big ribbons and bows!) finishes it off. The focal image is up on 3M foam squares.

Thanks for dropping in!
