Oh, my heck! Would you just look at Who's That Couple? OK, so that's not the official name ;-) The official name is May I Have This Dance? and this is the set we're showing you today. Can you just not think of tons of reasons to use this? Anniversary, Valentine's, New Year's...ANY time!!

I had so much fun making this card. I wanted to incorporate the new Skyline Border Die-namics die (GASP, right?!) and I love the way it extends out of each side of the image panel. I wanted to give the impression that they were dancing on some rooftop at night and I think it worked. I have lots of layers of paper piecing on this image to create the dimension that I was after, but it was so worth the effort. The sentiment was stamped on one of the new Mini Tabs Foursome Die-namics die cuts--love the familiar shapes in a smaller size.

And on the inside is another sentiment stamped on a soon-to-be-released Oval Open Scallop Doily Die-namics die cut.

OK, so that's it for me this time. Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back later with this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge!

Holiday Hugs - C4C #115

Welcome! It's Crazy 4 Challenges time! This week, Joycelyn is challenging us to use snow in some form on our card or project. I've been wanting to ink up this sweet Pure Innocence - Holiday Hugs Snowman from MFT's latest release so this seemed like a good time to do it :) I decided to create a scene with him, so first of all I stamped the snowman image, then masked it with Eclipse masking tape and used my Copic air brush system to airbrush the back ground. Next I colored my snowman with Copic markers and then it was just a matter of adding die cuts to complete my scene. I'm using Sheltering Tree and Leaf Trio, Sunshine, Cloud Trio, and Wonky Scallop Border Die-namics dies for this.

Here's the inside with another copy of the snowman, who's sporting some holly on his stovepipe hat cut using Christmas Ornaments Die-namics.

And that's all for me for now! Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you!

THEN, you know what to do--we'd love to have you come along and play with us. Just do your thing with the challenge and link it to Mr. Linky on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Please link directly to your project. And, if you upload to a public gallery, please use the key word C4C115.

Christmas Cheer

Happy Monday! I've got a little something to brighten up the day for you. I was trying to come up with a clever way to present a gift card, or in this case, the green stuff, and MFT's Pretty Pocket Die-namics and Stamp Set was the perfect answer! I cut out the pocket, then stamped the "stitching", adhered it to the card front, and added the little tag, stamped with "Cheer", from the Christmas Ornaments Die-namics and Stamp Set. Finally, I dressed up the pocket with an ornament decorated with my favorite holly leaf :) The pink border was done with the new Wonky Scallop Border Die-namics die.

Here's a close up of the tag. Sweet. I think this little card is going to be perfect for my Christmas gift to my nail tech--another gift taken card of!

And here's the inside with another sentiment from the Christmas Ornaments set.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Paper: Whip Cream, Razzleberry; 12 Days Of Christmas (MME)

Red, White, and Black Joy - C4C #114

Happy Saturday!

So, it's time for Crazy 4 Challenges! Today Joycelyn is challenging us to use black and white and...any other color. Mmmmmmm, I LOVE black and white and most any other color :) Still working on building my Christmas card stash so I got out my well-and-truly-loved MFT Christmas Ornament Die-namics dies for this little number. The "Joy" sentiment on the little tag is from the set.

The sentiment on the inside is from Clearly Sentimental About Christmas. Very classic and elegant, I think.

THEN, you know what to do--we'd love to have you come along and play with us. Just do your thing with the challenge and link it to Mr. Linky on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Please link directly to your project. And, if you upload to a public gallery, please use the key word C4C114.

Thinking Of You - CTD #168

Hey, there Color Throwdown fans! It's Wednesday so it's time for another color challenge! This week Keva has chosen a bold palette for us:

I thought this Teresa Collins paper, World Traveler, was perfect for this color combo so I decided to use my MFT You Move Me Stamp Set and Die-namics for my card. I'm using a simple layout that's become a go to for me. I stamped the sentiment on the die cut, sponged with Distress Ink, and added the little die cut plane and buttons for accents.

For the inside I stamped another sentiment, a plane, and some clouds.

Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD168 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including November's Guest Designer.

Hi, everyone, it's MFT VIP time! It is a LIMITED QUANTITY product that gives you the opportunity to purchase upcoming stamp sets and a new Die-namics die THREE WEEKS early. What? Where is WTG, you ask?" Well, we decided to shake things up a bit this month and bring you two little PI cuties instead! Surprise!!! Here's what the VIP package will contain this month and it's available right now right HERE!

Pure Innocence Winter Cuties VIP Collection $37.95
Pure Innocence Ice Princess stamp set
Pure Innocence Holly Girl stamp set
Winter Cuties Sentiments mini (VIP exclusive stamp set - will never be offered for sale or be available again $9 value, FREE)
Oval Open Scallop Doily Die-namics Die

You can see what the rest of the design team has using these two sets at Kim's blog, HERE.

For my first card I'm using PI - Holly Girl. She's colored with Copic markers and her dress is paper pieced, then she's matted with the Oval Open Scallop Doily Die-namics die cut. I'm also using the Crown Border Die-namics (released last month), and my sentiment was stamped on a flag from my old stand-by favorite, First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics with a little holly accent using Christmas Ornaments Die-namics.

Here's the inside with another sentiment from the set.

And here we have PI - Ice Princess. Sa-WEET, is she not?! She is also colored with Copics and her skating costume is paper pieced. And she is also matted with a Oval Open Scalloped Doily Die-namics die cut. LOVE it. I used last month's Icicle Border Die-namics and another flag for the sentiment, but this time along with a snowflake from Let It Snowflake Die-namics.

I added some sparkle to the icicle border with my sticker maker and clear glitter.

And here's the inside of this card with another sentiment. I left off the "10" and added it with numbers using By the Numbers Die-namics.

Season's Greetings - MFTWSC #45

Happy Monday! I'm getting around to MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge for last week. Here’s this week’s sketch. You can find the sketch on the MFT blog and also in the MFT forum on SCS, as well as in the weekly newsletter. The Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

For my card I used the new Clearly Sentimental About Christmas set and made a poinsettia by using the Upsy Daisy Die-namics die. I LOVE how it turned out! I cut two copies of each size, stacked them, and fluffed them up a bit. Then I added a couple of leaves and some tiny gold flat-back beads for the center buds. I stamped the sentiment on a flag from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics set and underlined it with some Copic-colored tiny pearls. I made my border with a couple of layers of Simply Scallops, Medium Die-namics, and of course the tag is from the Tag, You're It! Die-namics set.

Here's the inside with another sentiment from the set along with a Hearts a Plenty Die-namics heart dressed up with holly from the new Christmas Ornaments Die-namics set. OMGosh! There's just so much you can do with Die-namics dies!!!
