MFT March Release Replay - You Get Me. Thank You.

I didn’t get a chance to play with the new Basic Shapes – Triangles Stencil during release so I took the opportunity to do it today. I love the shapes—both the stencil and Triangle STAX also released this month. So much you can do with both of them.

I started by sort of sketching out my plan on scrap paper then went to work with sponge daubers, the stencil, and Premium Dye Inks: Sno cone, Berrylicious, Lush Lagoon, Grout Gray, and Cement Gray. I knew I was going to add some gold accents so I also added some Delicata Gold Ink in the stenciling process.



After I finished my stenciling, I popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with some Gold Shine card stock “piping” down each side. Next I added a sentiment from Anything-but-Basic Friendship Stamp Set, heat embossed on Translucent Vellum and adhered directly to the card front with our new Permanent Vellum Glue Tape Dispenser. Then I cut Friend Duo Die-namics from Gold Shine card stock, layered it twice with white, and adhered it just above the embossed sentiment. To finish off, I added some Sprinkles in the design colors.

You’re Such a Party Animal–MFT February Release Replay

I love this chance every month to use products that I might not have had time to play with during Release Countdown. For today’s card I’m using Big Birthday Die-namics along with Party Animals Stamp Set and Die-namics. I really love the size of Big Birthday—the narrow font leaves room for lots of other images or die cuts and still remain the focal point of the project.

First of all, I applied a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor Paper and when it was dry I cut it with Big Birthday Die-namics. Next I cut Black Licorice card stock with the die and inlaid the black into the background, stamped the sentiment, and adhered it to a card base



Next I stamped and several images from Party Animals, cut them out with the coordinating dies, and colored them with Copic markers. To finish up I popped them up on foam tape around and on the inlaid sentiment. Fun!!

MFT January Release Replay

I absolutely LOVE the new Marble Background! I love it in gray for a “natural” look and I love it in bright colors for a funky look. For this card I went with the funky look :) I inked it up with Coral Crush, Poppy, and Razzle Berry dye inks and stamped it on a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next I stamped Romantic Script Background, trimmed it down so the gorgeous colored marble would show, and cut the hearts from the center using Hearts in a Row – Vertical Die-namics.



After added a backing of matching card stocks to show through the hearts, I popped it up on foam, added sentiments from From the Heart Stamp Set, heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock, and finished off with some matching hearts, cut with Blueprints 32 Die-namics and Tag Builder Blueprints 6 Die-namics.

My Favorite Things December Release Replay

I’ve been wanting to use this gorgeous Fairy Lights Sparkly Shaker Selection for some time and I thought this would be the perfect time to bring them out and the just released Stitched Star Peek-a-Boo Window Die-namics is a perfect way to showcase them.

To begin, I cut the window in Sweet Tooth card stock, inserted the Star Shaker Pouch, added the sequins, and closed it up, then popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base.



Next I cut lots of stars using LJD Stars Above Die-namics, Tag Builder Blueprints 4, Tag Builder Blueprints 6, Shining Stars Die-namics from Electric Red, Cornflower, Limelight, Daffodil, Blu Raspberry, and Silver Sparkle card stocks. I added a sentiment from LJD Stars Above, heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Slanted Sentiment Strips Die-namics and scattered the stars all over the card front to finish.

My Favorite Things November Release Replay

I’ve had this color palette in mind for a while to use with Snowflake Splendor and this seemed like a good time to use it. I stamped the images, alternating colors, on Sweet Tooth card stock, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and stacked them with foam tape between each layer.



I added a strip of Homespun Gingham paper pack down each side of my card base then popped up a panel of Sweet Tooth on foam tape. I added the snowflake stack then embellished each with either Nuvo Jewel Drops – Rosewater, Nuvo Jewel Drops – Sea Breeze, matching colors. I finished by adding a sentiment using Peaceful Words Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock, stacked three layers deep and adhered beneath the snowflake.

MFT October Release Replay!

I didn’t a change to show Polar Pals enough love during release plus I wanted to use the new Drifts & Hills Stencil again. I started by sponging the drifts and sky and stamped a couple of bare trees from Modern Trees. Then I stamped Wavy Coloring Book Background on Ranger Watercolor Paper and did a watercolor wash. I am liking this background for water—it’s different and provides lots of interest.



I adhered the “water” part of the background to the Sweet Tooth card stock card base and popped the drifts and sky part up on foam tape. The images were stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink on No-Line Coloring card stock, colored with Copics, and popped up in the scene with foam tape. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock, heat embossed with white embossing powder, and also popped up on foam tape.

I hadn’t had a chance to use the new Thank You Circle Frame Die-namics so I took this opportunity to do it :) I’m using Primitive Cream card stock, Kraft Collection – Solid Stripes Paper Pack, Jellybean Green card stock, and Brushed Gold card stock, along with LLD Circle Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics, Stitched Valley Die-namics, and Grassy Edges Die-namics to create my design.

I dry embossed with Radiating Rays Stencil and the images are from BB Witch Way Is the Candy?, stamped with Kraft hybrid ink on No-Line Coloring Card Stock and colored with Copic Markers, then fussy cut out and popped into the scene. Foam mounting tape provides dimension and the shaker was filled with sequins and gold micro beads.
