I'm showing you the next set in the popular Inspired By line, Inspired By Autumn. I decided to really highlight this gorgeous leaf image by going CAS. I stamped it lightly on some patterned paper and barely colored the leaves in autumnal tones. Then I cut it out in an oval, matted it with another oval, and finally mounted it on a new Oval Dainty Doily Die-namics die cut. The sentiment is from the set and I added some twine and a button for balance.

OK, so I'm head-over-heels-in-love with the new Contempo Cage Die-namics and Stamp Set, how about you? Try as I may, though, I want to make it vintage every time I use it!

This time, I decided to use some music paper behind the cage to play off of the "A Little Note" sentiment. That little birdie is super duper cute, isn't (s)he? Can you tell I cut the cage from glittered card stock? This tells you how awesome MFT Die-namics dies are: I was going to run it through my die cutting machine twice since it's thicker than regular card stock, but I was so excited to see what it looked like that I forgot, LOL! But no worries--it cut clean as a whistle on one pass! To finish it off, I decided to "hang" it by some little black chain. With the glittered bird cage, I just had to add some bling ;-) I stamped the sentiment on some patterned paper that I cut with the new Oval Tab Die-namics die--I'm telling you, this one is a favorite of mine already. To give it a little more presence, I cut another one from black card stock as a mat--it really makes it pop, I think.

For the inside, I used some stamps from the set. The "Happy Bird-day" sentiment is straight but I curved it on my stamping block so it would "flow". That's one of the beauties of clear stamps :)

MFT October Teaser, Day Six

It's Pure Innocence Day!! Today we're showing you lots of Pure Innocence: Girl and Baby, Boy and Baby, Girl Doctor, Pumpkin Patch Girl, Calendula, Have Hope, and Precious Little Lamb - Where Flowers Bloom. Always one of my favorite teaser days--I have October's calendar page for you. I'm thinking this is my favorite of these--I think because of the colors--I'm so in love with fall colors :) This set is Pure Innocence - Calendula.

She's colored with Copics, cut out, and popped up, just like all the rest of my calendar pages. You can see the stand on which I display my calendar HERE. I'm using the Postal Border Die-namics die which will be available on release night, and, of course, the Rounded Banner Die-namics and First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics dies.

Here we are at day five MFT teasers for October! Today we're showing you à la modes - Fight Like a Girl and à la modes - Sweetest Pumpkin in the Patch. I guess it's pretty obvious which one I'm showing you ;-) She's of course colored with Copic markers and I'm using the new Oval Tab Die-namics die for my sentiment element--I think this is my favorite tab die yet! I also used the soon-to-be-released Postage Border Die-namics die but it's kind of hard to see.

MFT October Teaser, Day Four

Sooooo, what do you think about the teasers so far? Pretty awesome, right? MFT keeps coming up with amazing sets and dies, month after month after month! And speaking of MFT, have you seen the new store?? it's AWESOME!! You have to go look!!! It's gorgeous and SO user friendly!! 

Today we're showing you Bon Appétit Die-namics and Stamp Set and Contempo Cage Die-namics and Stamp Set. I have a card for both sets to show you. For Bon Appétit Die-namics and Stamp Set I decided to do a dinner invitation. We have some good friends that we have over every now and then and she LOVES my cards--has saved every birthday card, etc., I've ever sent so I know she'll love this :)

I love making rosettes with my 1/4" Rosette Die-namics die so I added one to this card. It's on top of a Open Scallop Doily Die-namics die cut and the sentiment was stamped on the circle from my Sweet Stack Die-namics set. And do you see that sweet little tag? It's from the Bon Appetite Die-namics dies, as is the little oven mitt and the spoon is from the stamp set! How stinkin' adorable, right??

And here's the inside. I pulled out my Typewriter Alphabet stamp set for the Where/When/Time thing, added a spoon die cut from silver metallic paper, and stamped the chef's hat (both from Bon Appetite) in white pigment ink.
