Flourishes New Store Celebration - Day Five

[If you're looking for my Stamp Simply card, please scroll down to the next post. Thanks!]

We hope you've enjoyed this week of fun and games as much as we have! If you click on our new web store, you'll notice our home on the web is awash in shades of pink and green. So, as we wrap up our week of Grand Opening challenges, all you need to do is create a card using these two colors! Simply create and link up here on this post and you'll be in the running for a goody bag from Flourishes! If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FLLCCEL5. You have until Monday, March 15th at 6 PM EST to link up your cards. And, as you hop on over to visit our talented designers, you'll see a soon to be released set called Easter Basket. This set is just overflowing with possibilities – and as you make the rounds, you'll see why! This set will be released right after our Power Hour Release Party TONIGHT. The party starts at 9 PM CST in our SCS Member Company Forum!

OMGosh! There's so much goodness in this set I didn't know where to start...or stop, LOL! The first thing I did was to stamp and color the basket. You may think those eggs are part of the basket image but they're not. Each one was stamped on Classic White card stock and either colored or paper pieced individually. Then I cut a slit at the top of the basket and slipped the eggs in the slit to make them appear to be "in" the basket. The ribbon was also stamped, colored, and cut out, then attached to the basket handle. I couldn't *not* do the chocolate bunny and the peep, so they're popped up in front of the basket, with a punched grass border between it and them. A pretty bow and some pearls finish it off.

Thanks so much for dropping in today! Now head on over to see what the other designers have in store for you!
