Another MFT Sneak Peek

Ready for another My Favorite Things sneak peek? OK, you twisted my arm ;-)

This set is called "I {Heart} Books" and it's a cutie!! There's so much you can do with it. I'll show you another idea using this set (and another new one--yeah, I'm a tease) at the blog hop so be sure to hop by to check them out.

This is a gift card holder to use with a book store gift card. I love how it turned out. The image was stamped on a Perfect Paper Panel with Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Copic markers and layered on Really Rust and Old Olive card stock--all cut/embossed with Oval Nestabilities dies. I wish I could tell you what my patterned paper is but it was from my stash and the name is long gone. I sanded the edges and added a little distressing with ink. Buttons are tied on with SU! Linen thread. The sentiment is up on 3M foam squares, as is the focal image.

Here's the inside of the gift card holder. The book shelf is another image from this set, as is the inside sentiment, and I have them popped up on foam squares, too.

I'm so glad you stopped by today! I hope you come back for the blog hop, starting tonight at 10pm EDT at Kim's blog.

  3. This is great. My good friend is an elementary school libraian and this would be good for a journal or notebook.
