Well, can you? It's this week's Color Throwdown challenge and it's all my fault, LOL! Yep, I'm the hostess this week and until I saw them all together, these colors sounded like a good idea! They're not a *bad* idea, they're just all dark and if I'd thought about it a little more, I might have thrown a lighter color in the mix. But that's why it's a challenge, right? Right ;-)
Since the colors are so dark, I opted to add a light panel for my image. My layout is CPS179. My base card is Soft Suede and I stamped the images from PTI's Life set on Rustic Cream card stock in Almost Artichoke and Elegant Eggplant, rounded the corners and popped it up after tying a purple bow around. The sentiment was stamped in Soft Suede and made some score marks on the left side of the base. It looked a little bare, so I added some flat backed pearls. Easy peasy and I like it.
