Are you ready for a new Color Throwdown challenge? Kristin's our host this week and she's chosen a gorgeous color combo for us:
And this combo screamed Christmas to me, so you know I'm happy with it :)
Kaiser Crafts's Be Merry has all of these colors so I didn't have to look any further! And, since I hadn't inked up and cut out my new PTI Stocking Prints set and dies, I went to work with them. I used a very simple layout that doesn't need much 'splaining. After I die cut and stamped my stockings, I "hung" them on a Dark Chocolate baker's twine line and added some buttons in between. The sentiment is from the set, but I cut out my flag with Lil' Inker Designs' flag die. It works a charm for these flags--quick and easy and perfect every time! You need one..really, you do!
Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD114 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week.
