Flourishes Spring Has Spring Challenge

It's time for Flourishes pre-release challenge and a sweet one it is!

Let's see some signs of spring in your creations for this challenge! Use a little robin's egg blue, some green grass with a dash of daffodil. Use this color combo and you'll be in the running to win the entire April new release bundle! FLLCAPR11. Deadline is April 15th at 5 PM Eastern.

And, here's my card. Since it's almost Easter, I brought out Easter Basket. Using the masking technique, Classic White card stock, and Memento Rich Cocoa ink, I filled my basket with goodies, then colored them up with Copic markers.

Then, using my handy dandy Grand Calibur machine, and my a Classic Circle Nestabilities die, I cut it out, embossed the edges, and sponged it with Antique Linen Distress Ink.before matting it with a layer cut with a Classic Scalloped Circle Nestabilities die. You can't really tell in the picture, but I stamped and colored the ribbon separately, then cut it out and adhered it for a little dimension. Then I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with a flag die from the new Nested Pennant Nestabilities set and stitched it on the focal image. I'm using paper from Memory Box's Pixie collection, and I finished the card off with some sweet green flat backed pearls. I didn't have the exact color I needed so I simply colored some white ones with a Copic marker. Easy peasy!

And here are the Copic markers I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope to see you all playing in the challenge! For a ton of inspiration, be sure to drop in to see what my team mates have done for you:
