Happy Wednesday, everyone! It’s Color Throwdown time! This week Tammy has a gorgeous color combo for us, based on this awesome inspiration piece:
I chose to make a Valentine’s Day card, although these colors could certainly be used for any number of themes.
I pulled out my Die-namics Vanity License Plate Die & Stamp Set Combo and after deciding what to put on the license plate, I cut it out. I stamped “I” and “U” from the set and added a heart from LJD Homespun Hearts, stamped with Wild Cherry ink. I added a Die-namics Heart STAX element using a couple of hearts, a Steel Gray button, and some hemp cord. I did some stitching, added some bling, and a Wild Cherry Grosgrain ribbon strip.
Here’s the inside with a sentiment from Lovey Dovey Sentiments stamped with Wild Cherry ink.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD228 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our fabulous guest designer, Kim Hahn!
