Hey, there! It’s Wednesday noon so it much be time for this week’s MFTWSC! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
This sketch is based on several elements from Blueprints 9 Die-namics, but don’t let that stop you from playing if you don’t have it. Use whatever you have as long as it’s clear you used the sketch for your project.
I started with a Primitive Cream card stock base, then stamped up some Kraft card stock with backgrounds from LJD Hearts and Stitches with Black Licorice ink and Red Hot ink. I cut it with the larger die in Blueprints 9 Die-namics and popped it up on foam. Then I cut the half circle from some red corrugated paper and Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and topped it with a Black Licorice button tied with hemp cord. I added the vertical element using two more dies from the set cut from Black Licorice card stock and Red Hot card stock. I stamped the word “KEY” from LLD Document It – Off the Chart on a strip of Primitive Cream card stock with Red Hot ink and popped it up on a Heart STAX Die-namics cut from Red Hot card stock, on which I’d stamped another sentiment from LLD Document It – Off the Chart with Black Licorice ink. To finish it off, I tied on a key, cut from silver glitter paper with Keys and Locks Die-namics.
Another sentiment from LLD Document It – Off the Chart was stamped on the inside.
And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope to see you playing this week’s challenge!
