Happy Times–CTD #273

Hello, all, and welcome to the first Color Throwdown Challenge of 2014!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas (or whatever holiday you celebrate) and I’m wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! My girl Tammy is the host for this week and has chosen a rockin’ color palette to get us off to a great start this year!




I decided to go mostly white and add the colors for accents, more or less. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then, on a trimmed down sheet of Sweet Tooth card stock, I stamped a clock face and hand from MPD Timeless with a new color of ink from MFT this month, Grout Gray, then I over stamped that with a sentiment from the set with Steel Gray ink. I cut some First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics flags from more Sweet Tooth card stock and stamped images from LJD Spring Backgrounds, Washi Patterns, and More Washi Patterns using Steel Gray ink, Blu Raspberry ink, and more Grout Gray ink. I stitched them onto the layer, popped it up with foam tape, and finished off with some matching sequins.

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from Celebrate Big – December’s Free With $60 set that will be available on it’s own after the January release on January 7th at 10pm.
