Happy Birthday–Catered Crop Recipe Challenge

birthday_2014feb18

Hi, everyone! Today I have a card for the latest Catered Crop Recipe Swap Challenge! This time the challenge is birthday! Be sure to check out the Catered Crop blog for all the details.

For my card, I started with a Kraft card stock card base. Then, on a Primitive Cream card stock panel, I splattered several colors of ink, mixed with MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist: Black Licorice ink, Orange Fizz ink, and Berrylicious ink. Then I lightly stamped the text from MPD Collage Backgrounds with Black Licorice ink to finish off my background. I added an Open Scallop Doily Duo Die-namics die cut of Kraft card stock and stamped with images from LLD Border It – Mod Borders and Abstract Art, then topped it with some Berrylicious card stock stamped with an image from LJD Spring backgrounds using Black Licorice ink. I tied around some baker’s twine and popped up the sentiment, stamped with an image from LJD Vintage Frames with Black Licorice ink on a Sentiment Strips Die-namics flag.

The inside has another sentiment from LJD Vintage Frames.
