Hello, thanks so much for stopping by for today’s MFT December Release Countdown post! Tonight’s the night!! Release is at 10pm and you can get all the details at the MFT Blog. Today we’re previewing Tropical Flowers Stamp Set, Tropical Flowers Die-namics, Stitched Hexagon STAX Die-namics, Grassy Hills Die-namics, and Watercolor Stripes Background.

I have a couple of cards to show you today using most of these products. First, a cool palette card, using Tropical Flowers and Tropical Flowers Die-namics, along with Stitched Hexagon STAX Die-namics. You’ll also see Primitive Chevron Background and Amazing stamp set, which were previewed earlier in the Countdown.

I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, stamped the chevron background on more Sweet Tooth card stock with Black Licorice dye ink and popped it up on foam mounting tape. Next I cut a hexagon from Ranger watercolor paper and did a watercolor wash with Peerless watercolors, stamped the partial sentiment with Black Licorice dye ink, and popped it up, as well. The rest of the sentiment was stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder, then also popped up.

Tropical Flowers Die-namics was cut from more Ranger watercolor, stamped with Tropical Flowers in Versamark, and also heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder, then colored with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers. The leaves were stamped with Cactus dye ink and then they were all adhered to the hexagon. I finished off with some enamel dots.

I couldn’t resist another Christmas card ;-) I’m using Leafy Greenery Die-namics, Watercolor Stripes Background, Distressed Patterns, and the previously released LJD Trim the Tree for this card.

This card also started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then I stamped the background on more Sweet Tooth card stock and added some Distressed Patterns splatters in Black Licorice dye ink (told you you’d be seeing a lot of this set ;-)), tied around some black twine, and popped it up on the base with foam mounting tape.

I cut a circle from Sweet Tooth card stock with Circle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and stamped the sentiment in the center with Black Licorice dye ink, then arranged my greenery, which was cut from Sour Apple card stock and Jellybean Green card stock. I finished off with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins for berries.

And that’s it for today and the December Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you tonight for the New Product Release at 10pm!
