Warm Winter Wishes–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #269

MFTWSC269_2016feb24

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

OK, I think this is my last Winter-themed card. I do like Winter and I’m really not ready for it to end—I know, I’m weird ;-) I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors on Ranger Watercolor paper and popped it up on foam mounting tape. I stamped PI Holiday Hugs Snowman on more watercolor paper with Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored it with Zig Clean Color Brush markers, fussy cut it out (BOY, I’m getting spoiled with matching Die-namics for PI stamps!), and popped it up on foam.

The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and also popped up on foam. The sun was cut from Lucky Prints Paper Pack with Blueprints 21 Die-namics and popped up and I finished off with some clear Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

And that’s it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
