Hello there! I’m back with a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge brought to us by the lovely Miss Broni! I love these soft shades she brought us this week!
I thought this would make a nice wedding card so I went with that. I started with Stone Gray card stock and stamped it with Romantic Script Background and Cement Gray dye ink, in a distressed manner. Then I cut Stitched Oval Frames Die-namics from Gravel Gray card stock and determined where to stamp the sentiment. It’s from LJD Together Forever and was stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink then the frame was popped up on foam mounting tape.
Then I stamped Pretty Posies on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Black Licorcie hybrid ink, cut them out with Pretty Posies Die-namics, and colored them with Peerless Watercolors. I adhered them to the frame and finished off by adding some clear Pretty Pink Posh sequins.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD393 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd393 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our sweet and talented May Guest Designer, Jill Hawkins!
