Hello! Thanks for joining me for MFT’s May Release Countdown, Day Two! Today we’re previewing Snuggle Bunnies Stamp Set, Snuggle Bunnies Die-namics, Split Triangle Background, Hello There Die-namics, Watercolor Wash Paper Pack, and One Way Chevron Stencil. Release is tomorrow night, May 3rd, at 10 pm. Be sure to check by the MFT Blog for all the details.
How adorable are Snuggle Bunnies??? Sigh. Too much cuteness. This card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then I cut another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock on which to work—if I’m going to sponge a card front I add the sponged layer *just in case* I mess up, that way the card base won’t be ruined. So, then I sponged my night sky, using, bottom to top, Banana Split dye ink, Blue Yonder dye ink, Blueberry dye ink, and After Midnight dye ink. To create some interest, I first splattered it with clean water and then watered down Copic Opaque for stars. I added a Sweet Tooth card stock moon, cut with Circle STAX Set 1 Die-namics, Grassy Hills Die-namics cut from Gumdrop Green card stock stamped with Split Triangle Background and Gumdrop Green dye ink. Next I added Tree-mendous Die-namics, cut from Jellybean Green card stock and Chocolate Brown card stock.
Then I stamped Snuggle Bunnies on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut them out with Snuggle Bunnies Die-namics, colored with Copic markers, and added them to the scene with foam mounting tape. I finished off with the sentiment, stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 4 Die-namics.
Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for the last day of MFT’s May Release Countdown!
