I have a couple of cards for you today so let’s check them out. My first card is a Halloween card. I started with a Stone Gray card stock base. Then, on Smooth White card stock, I sponged an eerie background using, top to bottom, Grape Jelly dye ink, After Midnight dye ink, Orange Zest dye ink, and Lemon Drop dye ink. I masked off the moon before I started sponging, and splattered it with clean water and watered down white craft paint after I was done.

Next I stamped and cut my tree branch and bats from LJD Spooky Sweets and LJD Spooky Sweets Die-namicsHot Fudge dye ink for the branch and Black Licorice dye ink for the bats—and popped them up on foam mounting tape. I stamped part of the sentiment with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and popped it up on foam after stamping the rest directly on the sponged panel. I popped the whole thing up on foam on the base and added hearts, cut from Wild Cherry card stock with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics.

My second card is not scary at all :)

This card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then I cut Essential Cover-Up Horizontal Die-namics from Ranger Watercolor Paper, stamped a sentiment from Essential Sentiments on the top cut-out with Natural dye ink, another on the cross piece with Chocolate Brown dye ink, and applied a little watercolor to the upper left corner with Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush.

I created a shaker element in the bottom section using Heat Resistant Acetate Card Stock, foam mounting tape, and Pretty Pink Posh Sequins. I finished off with a Sunflower Die-namics and Layered Leaves Die-namics, cut from Ranger Watercolor Paper and colored with Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush.
